Well football is all about the clubs, culture, fans of course (nearly forgot about them)...well you know what I mean the whole pageantry of siping beer from paper cups as Europeans or is that the English? I know English players do that..anyway this is what makes the game colourful...ooops. Something Luis Suarez only knows too well. He has showed that the Uruguyan DNA of cheating and getting ahead in the game no matter what is still there. Maybe it might be unfair to lump it on Uruguyans ..hmmhhh am I being racist here? Or is that stereotyping? To say Suarez goes down easily is an understatement. Sometimes no contact is even made and we clearly saw that in the Merseyside derby against Everton when Jack Rodwell was sent off with what was clearly a good tackle. Referees are human too and if he made a mistake it is because a player like Suarez went down like his leg needed to be amputated immediately when it was a good tackle. The FA rescinded the red card and rightfully, but here is my question; if the FA can do that, shouldn't they ban Suarez or fine him for his play acting?
Now Suarez is in the middle of it again, Patrice Evra claims he was racially abused by Suarez and claims he was called by a certain "name" at least 10 times during the game, we really would not know, but in this youtube video it seems that Suarez is saying something towards him.
In 2008 Evra was at the centre of accusations that he was racially
abused by a groundsman at Chelsea while warming down. But an FA hearing
into the allegation – which was made by a Manchester United employee –
found that it was not proven. Evra was subsequently banned for four
games and fined £15,000 for his part in the post-match altercation with
the groundsman.
However this just might be different and will the FA have the guts to really take action?
