According to reports on the internet this morning, Man Utd boss Alex Ferguson has been busy arranging for the young Argentinian star Juan Manuel Iturbe to come to Old Trafford once he has matured enough to cope with the Premiership.
Iturbe has been compared favourably to Lionel Messi due to their physical similarities, and he is already set to join Porto on his 18th birthday to gain experience of European football.
It seems that agents involved in the deal say that this move is purely as a cover for the youngsters' eventual move to Old Trafford, as Man Utd already have close links with the Portugese giants and have financially paved the way for Iturbe to have his apprenticeship in Portugal.
To show how highly-rated Iturbe is at 17, Porto have arranged for £800,000 to be paid to his two former teams, and also a lump sum of £400,000 to Iturbe and his family as a ex-gratia payment.
The people reports that super agent Jorge Mendes will take care of all the arrangements after smoothing the way for Ronaldo, Anderson and Bebe to move to Old Trafford in the past, and he will receive a lion’s share of the £10m that is expected to change hands when Iturbe finally moves to Old Trafford.
