Chelsea take on Manchester United who are in the doldrums and have not won in three games now. with Deco pulling the strings in midfield and Chelsea looking like trouncing everyone in site not to mention all this without Drogba and Essien, it looks frightening.
United should have beefed up their squad particularly after the sale of Saha, Silvestre, Pique, Eagles and the loan spells of Simpson and Campbell. The Red Devils should have a bought somone like Alex the Brazilian from Fenerbache, he will do what Deco is doing for Chelsea, a true playmaker in the midfield. Towards the last two seasons Deco lost the drive at Barcelona, but with Scolari at the helm he has found the groove back.
Michael Ballack might have problems getting into the team once Essien is back and I think this will be the last season for him at Chelsea, he has been overated and has been living on a reputation for too long now. I do hope that we will not see a All-Blacks rugby style tackling from John Terry, but it is mouthwatering with John Terry who missed the penalty against United in the Champions League final and Ronaldo who will want to redeem himself in eyes of the fans after trying his best to 'push" a move to Real Madrid pitted not only against each other, but it will be battle within themselves.
Liverpool meanwhile will meet Stoke City and the points are obviously important, but last season and many seasons before that the Kops dropped points against mediocre teams and this will be a very important psychological game that will get the season going for the Kops...if they win against them.
