Vienna calling, can Germany ever bring some "funk" to their football?
The Germans have done it again, played a lousy game and won it. Turkey had 11 shots on goal 55 per cent of the ball compared to 45 per cent for Germany. Turkey pounded the goal with 11 shots and got 2 goals Germany got only 3 shots on target and...you guessed it, scored 3!!!!!
Typical Germans, they will now be in Vienna for the final, the stiff football of Germany continues and we only hope we can see them sparkle with some skillful football, but I doubt it, unless they look for inspiration to that famous singer Falco (who passed away). He is a famous singer who sang hot songs like Amadeus and Vienna calling, hits in Europe and the rest of the world, at least some parts.
He brought funk to the German language that was seen as stiff, so Germany please try to bring some funk into the game. Spain will be the next opponents (my bet).
