When football entered into 90s I thought I saw the last of the great maestros like Pele, Cruyff, Zico, Maradona, Hugo Sanchez, Falcao, Garrincha, Kempes, Beckenbauer, Muller, Platini,etc The straight jacket football of 90s was just too much, now I am doing the same thing after seeing Zidane leaving the game. What a talent! I read that Karim Benzema is the next Zidane, but when Zidane came into the football world nobody said he was the next Pele, Maradona or anything like that he just came like an alien. In fact that is what the fans in France and Spain call him ET (Extra Terrestrial).
The Gracefullness of this player and his relationship with the ball (I swear he had an affair with it, such intimacy) not bad for a player who was rejected by the Algerian national team manager for saying he will never make it he is too slow! Where the next ET will come from I don't know, but my friend Gopi told me there will be one from somewhere.
