The game between United and Chelsea was not what most fans expected, at least from United point of view. The lack of hunger and fluent passing from the Red Devils was surprisingly missing and the United line-up did not help. Missing from the starting match against Chelsea was Evra, Ronaldo, Hargraves, Ji Sung and Tevez, these are key players.
Ferguson might think that he needed to rest these players, but in the end he used Hargreaves and Ronaldo. Vidic should not have started the match, as he was not hundred per cent fit and the clumsy Drogba tackle eventually put Vidic out of the match. The sentiment for Ryan Giggs has now gone to the outer limits, Giggs should not have started the match though i must say the 2-1 scoreline still seems unfair on United.
But this is no excuse for the Devils, as they now have yet to win in four matches. One can only hope that this will come to an end in the Champions League match against Barcelona, but if United do lose this match, they might just end up with eggs on their faces if they don't win their two remaining matches in the Premier League.
