Well Manchester United spent the whole week paying tribute to the Munich Air disaster victims, add the international players on duty on wednesday and you get what!!? a 2-1 defeat to your archrival Manchester City! I think maybe the Arsenal manager (Wenger) could be right, the money spining meaningless trip to Saudi Arabia to play a match there for a noted player from Saudi Arabia could have its effect later and I think last week's draw with Spurs and today's defeat proves it.
I also think the Munich air disaster tribute went a bit too far, I mean no disrespect but I think putting on a replica kit of that team who passed away and Ferguson telling the he wants the United palyers to win it for the Munich victims might have put some pressure on the lads. If you were playing Birmingham City or Wigan it would have been a bit easy, but your crosstown rivals Manchester City!!! The same fans who keep booing at the one minute silence when its time to pay tribute during the match?!
Tactically United got it wrong I found this amazing that me watching from thousands of miles away saw United not playing an out and out winger. They did not stretch City enough on the wings. Ronaldo does this well and Giggs and Nani could do it on the other wing, but against City they surprisingly played very central and this made things easy for City, City were able to pick up and mark the players easily, well now United must hope Arsenal slip against Blackburn and Liverpool beating Chelsea.
