What a game Manchester United had yesterday when they whipped Middlesborough 4-1. United are finally gelling with all their new signings finally coming together and Ferguson and Quieroz might look like two guys piecing together a jigsaw puzzle, but it seems that so far the pieces are right.
The third goal was a gem, a pass by Anderson, a first time touch in the air to Rooney by Tevez, a run by Tevez after the pass to the middle of the box, a sumptous backheel by Rooney to Tevez and a finish by the Argentinian. it was a reminder of what Thomas Friedman wrote in that award winning book "The world is flat" basiclly that book was about globalisation and he touched on supply chain, outsourcing and insourcing. It was made in Argentina (scored by Carlos Tevez), but the raw materials was from Brazil (Anderson), process was from England (Wayne Rooney). It was vintage United while people talk about the way Arsenal play, i feel they are naive in defensive duties in midfield and defence (Maybe that is why they have not won anything for three years). With Arsenal it is pure silk, but with United it is a combination of silk and steel.
