The Russians put them in their place, it was rubbish by England and in the end the arrogance was just too much. As Guus Hiddink said England were overconfident, the Russians always lacked creativity but in Hiddink they had that and together with the tough Russian resolve it was a perfect match. I really don't see England qualifying, but the question now is will England look at their problems now? As mentioned earlier in my previous blogs the development issue needs to be addressed, but make no mistake this is not just Mclaren's problem this is an issue that should have been addressed decades ago.
Mclaren got it wrong from the start and his decision to leave Beckham and bring him back again did not put him in good light. But changing managers is not going to settle this problem and in the end former England Manager Sven Goran Eriksson will be laughing, he probably knew this all a long.

OK Suben, about your comments; I have to agree with you, eventhough I don't like and don't want to but I have to. I can feel what you are saying. So, now my hope is that they will some how qualify for Euro. Let's be frank, it will not be great without England in the finals. I think everyone will agree with that. Let's see what happens in the remaining two matches and then we can give out judgement for McLaren. Let's wait and see.
