Ballack for United in January

What do you get when you have two meglomaniacs running a club? Chelsea, it seems that the undoing of Chelsea in actually not registering Ballack for the Champions League was down to them not having a three home based players required for the Champions League rule. But it seems that there is more to this than meets the eye. I think it is fair to say that Shevechenko and Ballack have regrets moving to Chelsea and I think this is a warning to all players thinking to move to Chelsea in the future.
This probably influenced Ronaldinho and many more players in the future, which leaves potential "greats" up for grabs for the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool.
The great Franz Beckenbauer stated that Ballack should have moved to United and when the Kaiser speaks we should listen.
It seems like Abramovich and Mourinho are like two poker players who is slugging it out all the way while the rest of the them have left the table (Arjen Robbeb is one!), who will play the last card i don't know, but Ballack going to United in January? hmmhh...this is really going to be interesting because come January when the trnsfer window opens and Ballack will be eligible for the Champions League, some clubs will be interested and that list might include AC Milan, Inter Milan, Manchester United or even Barcelona.
Meanwhile the Champions League action and the match that I am interested in is Chelsea V Rosenborg of Norway, the last time the stars of Chelsea lost to a Norwegian team was in 2002 in the UEFA cup losing to lowly Viking Stavanger (What a cool name) 5-4 on aggregate.
Two members that survived that "trip" is John Terry and Frank Lampard. This time though Chelsea will take on the most successful club in Norwegian football history, Rosenborg from the city of Trondheim. This club has won 20 league titles and nine Norwegian Cups, the club was formed in 1917 as Odd (yes i know odd isn't it)? Rosenborg's domestic title streak of 13 consecutive wins is second in the world only to the 14-year streak of Skonto Riga of Latvia, their runs both ending in 2005.
Well you know who I am rooting for...Rosenborg of course. The rest of the Champions League throw up some interesting matches and i think the other exciting ties that i think will be seat of the pants stuff is: Arsenal against Sevilla, Milan against Benfica, Manchester United against Sporting Lisbon even Fenerbache against Inter, anyway see you guys around and hope that this Champions League throws an odd result or two!
