WEll I was right....England YOU ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH.....drawing with Macedonia and losing to Croatia (and the way they did it) wow it was fun! It is time England looked at themselves in the face and just say to themselves that they are not good enough. I am not a fan of David Beckham and I do admit that he did not deliver sometimes and was overrated, but let me tell you that he is one of the best players that ever played for England and let us not forget his performance for them in the World Cup.
But Steve Mclaren is bent on not picking him, Bobby Robson did that to Kevin Keegan when he became an England Manager and it is like saying in a Native American stereotype cowboy movie way: "Me big Chief and you no play". Let us not forget that in Robson's time he had talent and depth in his squad but this current team lacks talented players and you need whatever you can in all shapes and sizes and Beckham is definiely a player who can step up to the plate.
The media is also to blame, they have too much time on their hands and are influencing everything, they were against a foreign manager from the start and the News of the World reporter disguised himself as an Arab Sheikh and wooed the previous England Manager Erikkson to spill his guts. The news of the world tabloid went to great lentghs to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars just to pull off this disguise and now they are saying that Mclaren is not good (and they did this just before the World Cup what a bunch of nuts).
A coach can only do so much, England don't have enough talent and should look into their development programme for the future, for now sit tight people and enjoy the ride which is so far more fun than the theme parks of Disneyland and Universal Studios.
