What a display by Barcelona they just smashed Leveski Sofia. It was a text book display of fantastic football in all weather conditions mind you. the team have got the right mix and instead of having galaticos and buying "good looking" players they have bought what is relevant and proved that merchandising comes first with success and not only that they did this with beautiful football.
They were all good goals but three of them were fantsatic Ronaldinho, Inesta's and eto's were out of this world and to think that Messi and Saviola did not play will send shivers down the spines of everyone.
Here is what I want to know what do you think about Unicef being on the shirts of Barca? Instead of Unicef paying them, Barcelona are paying Unicef a million euros (I think 1.5 million Euros) and the players are also contributing part of their salaries to Unicef but will this actually backfire? How?Well other teams are also helping out Unicef and because of this they might not be so encouraging in sponsoring Unicef anymore thinking "That Barca is there I am sure they can take care of themselves", thus depriving Unicef of more sponsorships, could this happen? Should NGOs be barred from being sponsored on the shirts of football teams? Or is it a master stroke by Barca?
